Best gym management software in India (2026): an honest comparison

·Yogesh Sahu, Founder

There is no single best gym management software in India, only a best fit for your gym. On the tightest budget, Akton lists Rs 129 a month. Want biometric check-in plus online member payments, look at Okfit. For WhatsApp-first automation with done-for-you migration, our own Gym Management (yes, we build it) is the one to trial.

Key takeaways

  • Every ranking in this market is self-published. Vendors write listicles that rank themselves first. This one is a vendor list too, so we disclose the method and mark our own product’s gaps instead of hiding them.
  • Prices span two orders of magnitude for software that sounds identical on the brochure: from Rs 129 a month to quote-only enterprise suites priced in dollars.
  • “WhatsApp automation” means five different things across these vendors. The question that separates them: official Meta Cloud API with per-message billing, or a workaround?
  • The best-fit answer depends on one honest question: what is the single job you need done, reminders, biometric access, member self-payments, or chain-level control?
  • Trial before you trust any table, including this one. Feature claims below come from vendor pages, not lab testing.

How did we build this comparison (and why should you trust a vendor’s list)?

Cards on the table, because this is the part every other “best gym software in India” list skips:

  • Prices come from each vendor’s own public pricing page, checked in July 2026 and linked below so you can re-verify in two minutes. Where a vendor publishes no price, we say “quote-only” rather than guessing.
  • Feature claims come from vendor websites, not hands-on testing. A pricing page saying “biometric integration” tells you the feature is claimed, not how well it works on a Tuesday evening rush. Treat every cell in the table, including ours, as a claim to test in a trial.
  • We build one product on this list. Myntrix Gym Management is included, and its gaps are marked in plain text: where a feature is not live yet, the table literally says “Roadmap”. Judge our inclusion accordingly.
  • “Not shown” means exactly that: the vendor’s public pages did not mention the feature when we checked. It may exist behind a sales demo; you will have to ask.

How do the top gym software options in India compare?

Verified as of July 2026 from the vendor pages linked in the first column. Prices change and usually exclude 18 percent GST, so treat them as anchors, not quotes.

Software Starting price (listed) WhatsApp automation Multi-branch Member online payments Attendance / biometric Best for
Myntrix Gym Management Free plan; paid plans scale with branches and members Yes, official Meta Cloud API Yes, native Roadmap Roadmap WhatsApp-first gyms, single or multi-branch
Akton Rs 129/month, one flat plan Not shown on pricing page Not shown Not shown Staff attendance shown The tightest budgets
Okfit Rs 500 to Rs 3,000/month Yes, from the Basic plan Not shown Yes (UPI, cards, net banking) Yes (RFID, fingerprint, face) Biometric access plus member self-payments
FitGym Software From Rs 3,999 per 3 months WhatsApp support listed; automation unclear Premium+ plan Premium+ plan (payment gateway) Premium plans Gyms comfortable buying on a demo call
GymForce Rs 9,998/year Yes, auto alerts Pro plan only (Rs 14,998/year) Not shown Yes Single gyms wanting biometric on a yearly plan
Easy Gym Software Quote-only Yes Yes Yes (methods unspecified) Yes Gyms that want everything, priced on a call
Mindbody From $99 USD/month per location Not shown Yes Yes Not shown on pricing page Class-based studios with international ambitions
Zenoti Quote-only Not shown Yes, franchise-grade Yes Not shown on pricing page Large chains and franchises

Two honest observations before the profiles. First, the cheapest and dearest options here differ by a factor of well over a hundred, which tells you the brochure feature list is not what you are paying for; depth, support and scale are. Second, the “Not shown” cells matter as much as the ticks: a vendor that does not publish a price or a feature is asking you to find out on a sales call. Our full teardown of what these numbers become after GST, message charges and setup fees is in the gym software pricing guide.

What is each product actually like?

We have put our own product last, so you read the others first.

Akton

Akton’s pitch is a single flat plan at Rs 129 a month with unlimited members and no tiers, which as of July 2026 is the lowest published price we found from any Indian vendor. The pricing page lists real-time analytics, expiry alerts, staff attendance and broadcast messaging.

Where it wins: price, simplicity, and no member caps to outgrow. Where to probe: the pricing page does not mention WhatsApp automation, member biometric integration or multi-branch support, so confirm on the trial exactly how expiry alerts reach members. Best for: a small gym that needs to get off paper for less than the price of a tub of whey a year.

Okfit

Okfit publishes four plans from Rs 500 to Rs 3,000 a month (prices exclude tax, 20 percent off yearly) and is unusually complete on the two features Indian gyms ask about most: biometric access (“check-ins via RFID, fingerprint and face”, per its site) and online member payments through a gateway with UPI, cards and net banking on the Growth plan.

Where it wins: member-facing payments and access control in one product at mid-market prices. Where to probe: multi-branch support is not shown on the pricing page, and WhatsApp appears as an “SMS / WA service” from the Basic plan, so ask whether that is the official API and what messages cost. Best for: a single gym that wants members tapping in by fingerprint and paying by UPI.

FitGym Software

FitGym publishes tiers (Basic, Premium, Premium+, Enterprise) but only one anchor price, a basic 3-month plan from Rs 3,999, with the full price list shared on a demo. Biometric integration arrives in Premium, multi-branch and a payment gateway in Premium+.

Where it wins: the ladder is clear, and every duration gets the same feature set within a tier. Where to probe: “WhatsApp and call support” in the Basic plan reads like a support channel, not message automation, so get the automation story in writing, and get the full price list before the demo charm sets in. Best for: gyms that prefer buying from a salesperson and negotiating the ladder.

GymForce

GymForce lists two plans, Growth at Rs 9,998 a year and Pro at Rs 14,998 a year, both with unlimited members, biometric integration, attendance tracking and WhatsApp auto alerts, with 500 to 1,000 message credits bundled. Multi-branch support is reserved for Pro.

Where it wins: a yearly all-in price with biometric and WhatsApp claimed in the base plan, and zero setup fees advertised. Where to probe: what a WhatsApp message costs after the bundled credits run out, and note that online payment collection from members is not shown on the pricing page. Best for: a single gym that wants biometric plus reminders on one predictable annual bill.

Easy Gym Software

Easy Gym publishes no prices; its site says pricing scales with gym size, member count and locations. The feature claims are broad: automated WhatsApp reminders and expiry alerts, biometric entry control that blocks expired memberships, multi-location dashboards and automated billing.

Where it wins: on paper it ticks every column in our table. Where to probe: everything, because none of it is priced publicly. Ask for a written all-inclusive first-year figure, the WhatsApp per-message cost, and a trial with your own data before the quote conversation. Best for: gyms that want the full stack and are comfortable negotiating for it.

Mindbody

Mindbody is a US suite starting at $99 a month per location, a dollar price that converts to several times the mainstream Indian plans in this table. It is built around class scheduling, online booking, point of sale and multi-location management, with enterprise tiers quote-only.

Where it wins: class-based businesses, consumer-facing booking, and brand polish. Where to probe: the price is per location and in dollars, and India-first plumbing like WhatsApp reminders is not shown on its pricing page. Best for: boutique studios selling classes to an international clientele, not a dumbbell gym collecting monthly fees in rupees.

Zenoti

Zenoti publishes no prices; it is quote-only and openly built for scale, describing itself as serving everything from single locations to enterprise franchises, with multi-location pricing customized to footprint. Payments, point of sale and cross-location controls are core.

Where it wins: genuine chain and franchise operations that need corporate-level control. Where to probe: whether a product designed for franchises is proportionate for one or three gyms, and what the quote becomes at your size. Best for: large chains with a head office that negotiates software contracts.

Myntrix Gym Management (ours, so read this profile hardest)

Gym Management starts with a free plan and a self-serve 14-day trial, no card needed, and paid plans scale with branches and member count. Three things on it are genuinely hard to find together elsewhere. First, WhatsApp depth: welcome, renewal confirmation, pre-expiry and post-expiry messages run automatically on the official Meta Cloud API with metered credits, a full message log, an anti-spam rule that never pings a member twice in a day, and one-tap bulk reminders from a recovery screen that totals the rupees at risk. The mechanics are the same ones we document in our WhatsApp automation guide and message templates library. Second, migration is done for you, not left to a CSV upload: a dry-run rehearsal, zero-duplicate re-runs and a warnings report, the same process that moved Black Beast Fitness, a single-branch Indian gym and our client of six years, off its old legacy system with 1,100+ members and years of payment history intact. Third, multi-branch is native, with per-branch managers, plans, lockers and a branch revenue ranking, and the codebase ships behind 1,100+ automated backend tests plus browser tests in CI.

Where it loses today, in plain text: attendance and biometric check-in are on the roadmap, not live. Trainer and class scheduling do not exist. Members cannot pay online yet; fees are recorded at the desk with partial payments, dues and numbered WhatsApp-shareable receipts, while UPI AutoPay-style member collection is the direction we are building toward. Batches are time-slot labels with clash warnings, not bookable classes. If biometric access control is your first requirement, pick Okfit or GymForce from this list, not us.

Best for: gyms whose real problem is renewals and follow-ups, that want reminders running themselves on the official API and their old data migrated for them.

How do you actually choose from this list?

Not from a table, including ours. A sequence that works:

  1. Name the one job that hurts. Renewals leaking, cash unaccounted, entry control, or chain oversight. The table’s “Best for” column now shortlists two or three products for you.
  2. Trial with your real data. Export your current register (our free Excel member register template shows the columns that matter) and load a messy slice of it, half-paid dues and all. Prefer self-serve trials; a demo shows the rehearsed happy path.
  3. Price the whole first year, not the sticker. GST, WhatsApp credits, setup, migration and the second branch. The worksheet in our cost guide forces every vendor onto one comparable number.
  4. Get live-versus-roadmap in writing. Every brochure in this market sells the roadmap at today’s price; we have marked ours above, make every other vendor do the same. The full five-point evaluation is in our guide to choosing gym management software.

If the job that hurts is renewals and WhatsApp follow-ups, start the free 14-day trial of Gym Management, no card needed, or talk to us and we will tell you honestly, as above, if another product on this list fits you better.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best gym management software in India?
There is no single best, only a best fit for your gym. As of July 2026: Akton (Rs 129 a month) suits the tightest budgets, Okfit (Rs 500 to Rs 3,000 a month) suits gyms that want biometric check-in plus online member payments, GymForce suits single gyms on yearly plans, Mindbody and Zenoti suit large chains and studios, and Myntrix Gym Management suits WhatsApp-first gyms that want automated reminders on the official Meta API plus done-for-you data migration. Disclosure: Myntrix builds Gym Management.
How much does gym management software cost in India?
As of July 2026, entry plans for a single gym list between roughly Rs 1,500 and Rs 15,000 a year: Akton lists Rs 129 a month, Okfit runs Rs 500 to Rs 3,000 a month across four plans, GymForce lists Rs 9,998 to Rs 14,998 a year, and FitGym starts at Rs 3,999 for a 3-month plan. US enterprise suites like Mindbody start at $99 a month per location. GST at 18 percent and WhatsApp message charges usually come on top of the listed price.
Does gym management software in India include WhatsApp reminders?
Most Indian vendors claim WhatsApp in some form, but implementations differ widely. The version worth paying for runs on the official WhatsApp Business platform (Meta's Cloud API) with approved message templates, because Meta bills businesses per template message. Ask any vendor three questions: is it the official API or a workaround from a phone, what does a message cost once the included credits run out, and is there a log showing every message sent.
Is there any free gym management software for Indian gyms?
Free-forever plans are rare; what most vendors offer is a 7 to 14 day trial. Myntrix Gym Management has a genuine free plan plus a self-serve 14-day trial with no card required. With anything labelled free, check what has been cut: member limits, WhatsApp reminders, reports, or the ability to export your own data are the usual restrictions.
What should I check before buying gym management software?
Five things: which advertised features are live today versus on the roadmap (get it in writing), who migrates your existing member data and what that costs, whether you can export your members and payments to CSV or Excel any time, how WhatsApp messages are billed once included credits run out, and what a second branch adds to the bill. A self-serve trial with your real member data answers more than any demo.
